The foundation of Driven Deep started about 3 years ago when I moved to Utah. But to really answer the question, I need to explain who I was before.
My life prior to the move was a good life filled with happiness and many blessings. Yet there was one aspect of my life I lacked sufficient maturity. This lack of strength and maturity was to be found in the physical health of my body.
I was a 270 pound man who did not exercise, who ate low grades of food, and who drank soda like his life depended on it! I had self esteem issues (more than I would like to admit) and felt this was just who I was.
But in the past 3 years I have learned I was telling myself a bold faced lie (without even knowing it)!
I have gone from 270 lbs to 185 lbs. I gave up soda 2 years ago, I love eating clean, and I run and do yoga as if my life depended on it!
To say I am who I am and that's that, is to say that men and women cannot change. And that is simply not true!
Men and women change everyday.
Everyday is an opportunity to change, to improve, to become better. Many fall short of their dreams, but it is not because they cannot reach them it is because they believe (consciously or subconsciously) they are not good enough for them. And that is simply not true!
Believe in yourself.
Believe in what you can become.
Look Impossible in the eyes and knock him out!
